Directions: From the South, take the M6 north to Jct 44 and continue ahead along the A74 for Gretna Green. When the A74(M) motorway begins, turn off via the sliproad for A75 Dumfries, but then turn off left 180 degrees for Gretna Green. At the end of the sliproad turn left onto B7076 Glasgow Rd. Cross the railway and take the 1st right opposite the church, still following the B7076. Head on up the hill, below the motorway flyover. The World Famous Old Blacksmith's Shop will be facing you on the opposite side of the T-junction. Smiths at Gretna Green is opposite the Old Blacksmith's Shop. From the North, pass the Gretna Green services then leave the A74(M) at the next junction. At the roundabout turn left 1st exit, continue straight ahead through the village and turn left opposite the Old Blacksmith's Shop. From Dumfries on the A75, pass Gretna Green station, do not join the A74(M) but continue ahead to the B7076 Glasgow Rd, turn right onto this road and then follow directions as from the South.
