Directions: By car from the South - leave the M6 at Jct 36 and take the A590 towards Kendal, then continue along the A591 for Windermere. Continue through Windermere village on the A591 to Ambleside, and the hotel is on the left of the road shortly after you pass the turning for the A5095 to your left. From the North - leave the M6 at Jct 40 and turn right onto the A66 towards Keswick. At the first roundabout turn left onto the A592 to Glenridding. Continue through Patterdale on the A592. At the Kirkstone pass, turn off to the left signed for Ambleside. In Ambleside, follow signs for the A592 south towards Windermere and the hotel is on the right hand side of the road, just south of Ambleside. By train - the hotel is 4 miles from Windermere station, about 10 minutes by taxi.
