Directions: By car - leave the M11 at Jct 8 and take the A120 east to Great Dunmow, passing Stansted Airport to your left. When you reach Great Dunmow continue ahead at Woodlands Roundabout, then at the next roundabout turn left first exit onto Stortford Rd. At the Y-junction bear left onto Rosemary Lane, continue ahead along The Downs to a roundabout where you take the first exit bearing left onto the B184 North St to Thaxted. Driving through Thaxted on the B184, the hotel is on the left just before the road bends around to the right. By train - the hotel is just over 7 miles from Newport Station, about 15 minutes by taxi.
