Over the past couple of days we’ve been putting the final touches to our design changes for the British Heart Foundation. From the 1st April to 30th June 2007 FHR will be making a donation to the Help a Heart campaign of £2 for every hotel booking and 50p for every parking booking made during these months.
The site’s been re-jigged to incorporate branding from the BHF to draw attention to the donation as well as encourage people to make an additional personal donation at the time of booking - so you can make a hotel or parking booking and donate to a good cause at the same time!
FHR is involved as part of the British Heart Foundation’s Help a Heart campaign which aims to raise over £1.5 million through various fund-raising activities from now until June.

We’ve loaded 2 new hotels near Heathrow airport today. The three star hotels will be a welcome addition to the range of hotels available from FHR which has something to suit all budgets.
The first hotel is the Comfort Hotel Heathrow which is located just 2 miles from Heathrow and offers rates inclusive of parking, 24-hour room service and a fitness room. Located slightly further out but still offering excellent value rates is the Quality Hotel Heathrow where you can also book a room with inclusive parking.

Its now possible to test how your website will look for those people who have yet to make the upgrade to IE 7.
Whilst you can happily test a website in Firefox and Internet Explorer (IE) on one machine it hasn’t been easy to see how your site will look in previous version of IE as you can only have one fully working version installed at a time.
When new versions of IE are released you may be keen to install the upgrade as soon as possible but you can’t count on the fact that all your visitors will do the same. Simply looking in your web log files will show that there are still many people using IE 6, a smaller number using IE 5 and even IE 4 makes an appearance every now and again.
You can download an installer that will allow you to set-up multiple standalone versions of IE from Tredosoft.com

Did you know that the old mobile phone in your drawer gathering dust could earn you some money?
Envirophone.com is a site we have come across that will recycle your old mobile and give you points which you can exchange for cash. With over 10 million people in the UK upgrading their phone each year the impact of additional waste on the environment is significant.
However, by sending your old mobile to Envirophone.com it will be recycled or reused in places around the world where they’re needed and in return you get points which can be converted to cash or used to purchase products in stores such as Argos.

We’ve found a great on-line tool that lets you create huge rastorized images from your digital photos.
The images created are made up of pixels or dots - close up they look strange but from a distance the image becomes crystal clear!
Simply upload a digital picture less than 1MB to http://homokaasu.org/rasterbator/ and it will create a pdf file that you can download and print.
Once you’ve uploaded your image you can crop it and resize as necessary as can even create multiple page PDF files to put together to form a large poster to brighten up your workplace.
When you’re done, send us a link to your images.
