
The Flight Evaluation Unit at London Stansted Airport has been commended for the work it does in responding to complaints about noise levels.
An independent review of the airport's response to noise concerns led Uttlesford District Council to describe the unit as not only well run but also properly responsive to complaints from the public.
"We understand aircraft noise can be a real concern for people and we'll continue to work hard to minimise the effects as far as we possibly can," said communications manager at BAA Stansted Graeme Wade.
