Three more routes for Bristol next year
An extra three routes have been confirmed for passengers flying from Bristol Airport next year.Low-fares airline easyJet announced that it will begin flights from Bristol to Biarritz in France, Olbia on Sardinia and Split in Croatia in spring 2008.
The carrier will be offering a number of new flights from hubs across the UK next year, including a connection between Edinburgh Airport and Nice.
A new link will also be launched from Glasgow Airport, to Faro, to accompany easyJet's previously announced flights from Nottingham/East Midlands Airport, London Gatwick, Liverpool Airport and others.
David Osborne, the airline's UK general manager, said: "EasyJet will launch 18 new routes over the next few months from our bases across the UK and we will shortly announce further expansion, reinforcing our position as the UK's largest airline."
Bristol Airport offers flights to a number of international destinations, including New York, Orlando and Banjul in Gambia.
