Flybe launches new routes for summer '08

Flybe launches new routes for summer '08Flybe has released details of its network for summer 2008 and confirmed that it will be launching 23 new routes across the UK and Europe.

Over seven million seats will go on sale and among the regional highlights in the network are nine additional routes from Cardiff Airport, Inverness Airport and the Isle of Man.

Inverness will be part of a substantial expansion in Scotland - along with Aberdeen Airport, Edinburgh and Glasgow Airport - with Flybe launching a total of 12 new routes from these bases.

A new non-stop service to Paris will commence from Belfast for summer next year, while Exeter Airport will host new flights to Dubrovnik, Brussels, Inverness and Aberdeen.

Chief commercial officer Mike Rutter said: "The all new summer schedule for 2008 sees Flybe continuing to grow across the UK and Europe with a large number of new routes on sale.

"The latest routes show us cementing our position as Europe's largest regional carrier in key areas, building Flybe into a bigger and stronger airline with a long term commitment to offering sustainable, reliable and convenient travel to our passengers."
