Full cast confirmed for The Sea
The full cast has been confirmed for the upcoming production of Edward Bond's play The Sea.Multi award-winning actress Eileen Atkins, who is currently on TV screens in BBC drama Cranford, will be one of the leading players in the show.
She will be joined by David Haig, who many audience members will recognise from his role in Four Weddings and a Funeral and sitcom The Thin Blue Line.
Among the performers joining them will be David Burke, whose previous theatre credits include The Wind in the Willows at the Royal Opera House, and Harry Lloyd, who has appeared in the BBC's Robin Hood, according to the Official London Theatre Guide.
The Sea is set in a small East Anglian village in 1907 and relates the impact on the community of a destructive storm.
It will play at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, with an initial run scheduled for January 17th to April 19th.
