Four new routes from Belfast with easyJet

Four new routes from Belfast with easyJetBelfast International Airport will play host to a total of 23 routes from easyJet by the end of this week after the airline launches four new services from the hub.

The carrier, which claims to be Northern Ireland's largest low-fares airline, will commence a service to Gdansk in Poland on October 30th, followed by flights to Prague and Venice on November 1st.

A new connection to Barcelona, which will open on November 3rd, will be the final addition to easyJet's services from Belfast International Airport.

An additional aircraft will be stationed at the hub to serve the new routes and over 140,000 passengers are expected to use the services in their first year of operations.

David Osborne, easyJet UK general manager, said: "Increasing the number of easyJet routes from Belfast International to 23 further cements our commitment to the region and its people.

"We have been in Northern Ireland for nine years and we intend to keep expanding for many years to come."

John Doran, managing director at Belfast International, said that easyJet has been a "serious and innovative" business partner for the airport and delivered a range of business and leisure links for people travelling through Northern Ireland.
