Heathrow, Manchester to get more UAE flights

Heathrow, Manchester to get more UAE flightsHeathrow Airport and Manchester Airport will see more flights to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) this winter with Etihad Airways.

The national carrier will offer a new service departing Heathrow every morning from October 28th to supplement existing afternoon and evening flights.

Manchester Airport will see a new evening service on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

The changes are part of Etihad's winter schedule, which will boost the total number of flights in its network from 556 to 718.

James Hogan, chief executive of the airline, recently said that it offers flights to "the world's most exciting destinations".

Manchester offers services to a number of other locations in the Middle East, including Dubai and Qatar, while flights are available from Heathrow to Amman, Riyadh and Karachi.
