Jersey Boys cast confirmed
The cast list has been confirmed for new West End musical Jersey Boys, set to open at the Prince Edward Theatre on March 18th, with previews on February 28th.Jersey Boys, which is being transplanted from Broadway to the London stage, tells the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and Ryan Molloy will be filling the role of Frankie.
Molloy has already shown his talents on the boards in Taboo and Jerry Springer the Opera.
Taboo also features Stephen Ashfield among its cast members, who will be playing Bob Gaudio in Jersey Boys.
Band member Tommy DeVito will be fleshed out by Glenn Carter, whose numerous stage credits include Jesus Christ Superstar, Cats, Les Miserables and Grease, while Philip Bulcock, who has previously appeared in Elvis the Musical, will play Nick Massi.
Fans of the Broadway version of the musical will be happy to hear that the entire creative team behind the New York production will stage the London show.
The music for Jersey Boys was written by Bob Gaudio, who penned a number of the Four Seasons' hits, while producer Bob Crewe was responsible for the lyrics.
