Broadway star comes to London's Spamalot
London's production of Spamalot will be joined by Marin Mazzie, who currently appears in the Broadway version of the show, with Hannah Waddingham going in the opposite direction.The pair currently play the Lady of the Lake character in the English and American versions of the comedy musical.
Waddingham will make her Broadway debut as a result of the swap while Mazzie will be returning to the English capital.
The American performer made her West End debut in the 2001 production of Kiss Me Kate at the Victoria Palace Theatre.
London's production of Spamalot is currently led by Peter Davison as King Arthur and Bill Ward as Sir Lancelot. They will be joined by Mazzie on January 13th 2008.
The show is derived from the 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail and former Python member Eric Idle worked on the music and lyrics for the production.
It is currently taking bookings to March 1st 2008.
