Brazil 'now easily accessible' from Gatwick
Brazil is now easily accessible for holidaymakers flying from Gatwick Airport, an expert on investment in foreign countries has claimed.Rhiannon Williamson, director of investment advice group Amberlamb, said that the Brazilian government has steadily increased investment in infrastructure and supported the tourism industry in the country.
With this investment, service from airlines and access from European airports has reportedly improved as well.
"The Brazilian government is wholly supportive of foreign investment and to the promotion of tourism interest," Ms Williamson explained. "They understand that both are required for the benefit of their economy's stability."
She went on to explain that the Rio Grande do Norte region is the main centre for tourism. It is also thought to be the safest area and the one that is receiving the most investment.
"The region, its capital city of Natal and its stunning beaches are already easily and affordably accessible from Europe and the UK with flight times averaging about eight hours and costing as little as £200 return from London Gatwick," Ms Williamson said.
Accessibility is expected to improve even further in the future when the region becomes home to the world's fifth largest airport.
