Apprentice winner to take on airport hotel project

Apprentice winner to take on airport hotel projectOne-time public schoolboy Simon Ambrose was victorious in the final of the long-running Apprentice TV show earlier this week.

The 27-year-old Cambridge University graduate beat the bookies' favourite Kristina Grimes to the much-coveted £100,000 a year job, working for Sir Alan Sugar.

And Ambrose will now train as a chartered surveyor while working on a project to build a hotel and golf complex near Stansted Airport for the former Spurs supremo.

Airport hotels offer flyers a relaxing and stress-free beginning or end to their holiday, while they're also a fantastic resource for business flyers.

Stansted Airport, being the UK's third busiest, already features an excellent choice of airport hotels and Ambrose and his team will need to produce something special if he is to be successful.

The decision to hire the young rookie came as a shock to most Apprentice fans, but he is now focusing on proving Sugar was right to choose him.

"He's an entrepreneur, he has taken risks all his life. He is taking a risk with me and hopefully I will deliver," he told the BBC.
