Manchester Airport launches new low-cost routes
Low cost airline Thomsonfly is set to launch 14 new routes from Manchester Airport this summer, adding to the airport's comprehensive direct flight services already in place.Prices will be starting from as little as £19.99 each including taxes, as the UK's fourth busiest airport continues to deliver a first-class service to its flyers.
New scheduled routes starting this week include flights to Lisbon, Venice and Naples, three of Europe's most popular destinations.
Other services getting underway this week include Dubrovnik, Faro, Corfu, Mahon and Funchal.
New routes scheduled to begin in winter and continue into their debut summer season are Canary Islands Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Lanzarote, as well as Marrakech, Salzburg and Paphos.
A Thomsonfly statement said: "These new routes reinforce Thomsonfly's position as the number one airline at Manchester airport, offering a greater range of destinations than any other airline."
Manchester Airport offers more routes than any other UK airport and has a range of airport lounges and airport hotels to enable it to cope with around 22 million flyers a year.
In addition to the new routes flyers will be able to take advantage of new in-flight meals designed by celebrity chef Aldo Zilli, at a price of £6 per person.
