UFOs at Belfast International Airport?

UFOs at Belfast International Airport?Air traffic control staff at Belfast International Airport recently received calls from worried County Down residents over strange lights in the night sky.

One call even came from a perplexed coastguard, after many people saw the bizarre lights in the skies of Bangor.

And the sightings have led many people to speculate that it was a possible UFO sighting, after Belfast International Airport revealed it had no record of any aircraft in the air at the time.

Bangor resident Clifford Rossbottom told the BBC there were three orange globes in a near straight line, adding that they were "absolutely fascinating".

"I watched them for five minutes, and then very slowly, they just disappeared. The only thing I thought it could have been was three high-flying aircraft.

"If that is not the case, then I have no idea, and the only other thing I can think of is in fact that they were UFOs."

Belfast International Airport is Northern Ireland's largest, featuring a range of airport hotels and airport parking areas to help it deal with around five million flyers a year.
