Hey! It's Luton to Ibiza

Low cost airline easyJet launched its inaugural flight from Luton Airport to Ibiza this week, with summer holidaymakers set to take advantage of the new daily service.

UK flyers will be able to jet off to the world renowned party isle for as little as £31.98 one way including taxes, while a return journey starts at just £53.98.

Around 35,000 Brits are expected to travel out there this summer and Luton Airport has a fine array of airport hotels and airport parking areas to help flyers get their trip off to the best possible start.

The famous Ibiza club season gets underway at the end of June, but the Spanish island also caters for the family too, with the north end boasting some of the Mediterranean's finest landscape.

Paul Cable, easyJet's UK market manager, spoke of his delight at offering another popular holiday destination from Luton and suggested the increase in traffic demonstrated the firm's commitment to Luton Airport.

"Ibiza has already proved a popular summer destination from many of our other UK bases and now even more holiday-makers seeking fun in the sun or a relaxing break on the famous White Isle can do so easily from their local airport," he commented.
