UK airport hotels with or without parking
New hotel for Gatwick flyers
UK travellers will be pleased to know that a new Gatwick airport hotel is set to open in nearby Crawley in 2008.The new Tulip Inn airport hotel is set to offer business and leisure travellers the chance to get their trip off to the most comfortable start, opening in the autumn next year.
Many flyers across the UK opt for the convenience of airport hotels, often driving to the airport and using airport parking as well.
Gatwick Airport is the second busiest airport in Britain and the busiest single runway airport in the world.
And now the 204-bedroom development at the Manor Royal business park will offer travellers the chance to take things easy before they fly, as it is only two miles away from Gatwick Airport.
Golden Tulip chief executive Peter Roberts said the company's existing hotels were primarily budget or four star models and added the Tulip Inn Gatwick would be the area's "first limited service, new generation three star hotel".
"We are confident the hotel will also benefit from the millions of passengers who already arrive at Gatwick annually from Europe where the Golden Tulip and Tulip brands are well-established," he added.
