New business links for Blackpool
Blackpool Airport has confirmed that private charter company Jetstream Express will run fast link services to Southampton Airport, Belfast City Airport and Aberdeen Airport.The new services are ideal for business travellers and are the company's first scheduled routes ever, as reported by UK-Airport-News.info.
Weekday only services will cater for flyers' needs, with flights to Southampton and Aberdeen Airport taking place once a day.
Services to Belfast City Airport, which is the area's second largest behind Belfast International Airport, will run twice daily.
Steve Green, Jetstream Express executive travel director, said: "Jetstream Executive Travel has already helped establish airlines throughout Europe and Africa. We're focussed on getting passengers out of their cars, through the airport and into the air as quickly and comfortably as possible."
John Hardcastle, an independent financier leading the company alongside Mr Green, said: "We're using aircraft that are ideally suited to short-haul routes, and insist on our own crews - their commitment is essential for us to achieve fast turn-around times and the highest standards of passenger service."
Blackpool Airport is owned and operated by City Hopper Airports, which also runs Wolverhampton Airport and Biella Airport in Italy.
