The hour is upon us

Don't forget that this weekend the 28/29 October, is the time to put your clocks BACK one hour, as we wave a fond farewell to the lighter evenings of the summer time.

Many Politicians have looked at scrapping the practice of adjusting the hour for summer and winter periods, which was only introduced in the early twentieth century. But so far it has remained, and is seen by many as the mark of transition between the seasons.

Of course the great thing about the approaching winter, is that you can now start to plan your escape from the chilly wet climate of the UK, to warmer destinations or as the skiing season kicks in to gear, why not head off to the slopes.
