And now for something completely different!

If the magnificent museums and galleries of London, do not quite offer enough to quell your adventurous spirit, why not take part in some of the more unusual excursions that bookfhr have on offer around the capital city.

Quirky, interesting and fun are what these "attractions" are all about.

You can follow in the footsteps of your hero from the Da Vinci code, Robert Langton as you trace his movements around the London based portion of Dan Brown's international best seller. Let your guide take you through this fascinating, imaginative and engrossing novel explaining points of reference and interest as the Da Vinici tour proceeds. (Only available up to 31st October 2006 - SO HURRY!)

On the subject of intrigue and adventure, but this time based on true events that remain a dark part of London's history, we have the Jack the Ripper tour. Explore "Jacks" haunts, as well as mysterious underground prison cells, gangland hangouts of the East end mobsters and the "real" Soho. Unfortunately this tour is not suitable for children.

Something that IS suitable for all the family is the Ducktour, board a genuine WW11 amphibious landing vehicle (which has been converted specifically for these tours) to take in the sights of London. These little vehicles originally designed for use in the D-Day landings are now becoming an attraction in their own right, so be prepared to be in someone else's holiday snaps as you "waddle" past Big Ben, Houses of Parliament and Trafalga Square before launching in to the River Thames.

If all of this adventure is a bit too much, we also offer a more sedate selection of experiences. Did you know for instance that the world famous food store Fortnum & Mason, known as "the grocer to Royalty" is also home to the elegant St. James Restaurant, which in itself is a great place to enjoy one of the greatest of all British traditions; that of AfternoonTea.

Or why don't you think about celebrating New Years eve in real style, by indulging in a spectacular New Years eve cruise on the stunning Mississippi styled paddleboat the "Dixie Queen". Where you will enjoy a sumptuous dinner as you cruise the Thames taking in the fabulous sites and lights of London.
