Roll up, Roll up, it's time for the Cabaret
Imagine the scene, it's 1931, Berlin and all of Germany is in preparation for war, that is all of Germany except the infamous Kit Kat Club where inside everything is dark, sexual and morally ambiguous.
The show Cabaret centres around the world of a nightclub performer called Sally Bowles and the besotted Emcee.
The story is said to have been conceived in the mid sixties and in 1972 Liza Minelli stared with Michael York and Joel Gray in the film of the same name. The film went on to land eight Academy Awards.
