More seats available on Leeds Bradford Airport to Glasgow Airport route
The number of seats available on bmi Regional's service between LeedsBradford and Glasgow Airport has increased after the carrier opted to introduce larger aircraft on the route. As a result of the decision, capacity on the twice-a-day service rose by a third from June 29th 2009.
The airline, which also operates a twice daily service between Leeds Bradford Airport and Edinburgh, said it had chosen to change the type of aircraft in response to demand from business customers on the route.
It has also changed the times of the flights to make them more convenient for business travellers and bmi Regional's commercial director Peter Kenworthy expects them to continue to prove popular.
"The new schedule for our Scotland to Leeds Bradford route and the increased capacity on flights out of Glasgow reflects our commitment to key business destinations within the UK," said Mr Kenworthy.
bmi recently revealed it hopes to launch a route from London Heathrow Airport to the Iraqi capital Baghdad.
