Bmi begins twice daily flights to Tel Aviv

Bmi begins twice daily flights to Tel AvivToday is the first day bmi will be flying twice daily between Heathrow and Tel Aviv.

High demand for the service since its launch last year has led bmi to increase frequency.

Connections for the service will be available from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Manchester and Belfast.

The airline suggested that the new flights were "ideal" for anyone planning a short holiday or business trip thanks to the scheduled flights at the beginning and end of the day.

From May, bmi will be introducing an A330 aircraft to the route, which will have an on-board chef and fully-flat beds in Business Class.

Recently, the airline has offered a number of new flights from Heathrow, including to the Ukrainian capital, Kiev.

Bmi began operations nearly seven years ago and now operates 1,700 flights a week over 36 airports in the UK, Europe, India, Saudi Arabia, the US and the Caribbean.
