World cup boost for Leeds/Bradford

Jet2 will be starting flights to Düsseldorf from Leeds/Bradford on the 8th May, with lead in prices starting from just £10.00 plus tax for a one way flight.

It is expected that the route will see heavy usage during the World Cup which is being held in Germany this year. Prices will probably increase during this period as many England fans make use of the local link to get out to Germany to support the England Football club.

The new route is being backed by a joint advertising initiative between the airline and the Yorkshire tourist board.
