Monarch airlines growth

Luton based Monarch airlines have declared an increase in scheduled passenger traffic in February over the same month last year.

Figures jumped from 134,983 in February 2005 to 174,080 in February this year, an increase of 29%. Reflecting the increasing popularity of Monarchs route program and rates structure.

New services to Lanzarote from Manchester and Tenerife from Gatwick for the winter 06/07 were also launched in February, as well as announcing the continuation of flights to Almeria, Faro and Murcia from Birmingham and a Menorca service from Manchester.
