United Airlines resumes flights from Heathrow Airport
United Airlines has announced that it will reinstate its schedule of flights to Denver from Heathrow Airport next year. The carrier will offer the daily service between March 29th and October 24th, providing "non-stop" passenger service to the US mountain region.
United Airlines will further boost the transatlantic flight network next year when it launches new flights from Washington DC to Geneva in Switzerland.
Both of these new services will offer a range of amenities in first class, business class, premium economy and economy cabins.
Kevin Knight, the airline's vice-president of planning, said: "Our services to Geneva and London provide our customers with convenient access to two international business, financial and diplomatic centers that are also popular tourist destinations.
"We will continue to adjust our capacity to market conditions and seek new opportunities to serve markets that respond to our customers' needs and deliver the results necessary to return us to profitability."
With hubs in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, Chicago and Washington, United Airlines and its subsidiaries operate a network of nearly 3,000 flights a day to domestic and international destinations.
