Luton Airport gets multilingual announcement system
Luton Airport has introduced a state of the art multilingual passenger communication system to help its passengers, according to reports.The facility, called Aviavox, can make announcements in nine different languages and provides messages relevant to flights owing to its connection with the airport departure schedule.
Important information is broadcast in the language relevant to travelling passengers and varies in different areas of the airport.
The Aviavox system has reportedly been useful in providing security messages that help to speed up passengers' journeys through the airport.
Managing director Glyn Jones said: "Our customers are at the heart of everything we do.
"London Luton Airport continually assesses the needs of its passengers and business partners and aims to provide the best possible service to them. The introduction of this fantastic new system for our passengers demonstrates our commitment to this."
Luton Airport now handles more than ten million passengers every year.
