Bmi boosts Edinburgh services
Bmi regional will this summer provide a third return flight on its route between Edinburgh Airport and Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. The new service, which will be available from July 21st, will bring the airline's total number of weekly return flights between the two cities to 18.
One of the main benefits of the change for passengers will be an increase in connections provided by bmi regional's Star Alliance partners, which will include transfers to Tokyo and Helsinki.
People flying from locations such as Istanbul and Oslo will also be able to connect to Edinburgh via Copenhagen.
Bmi regional's commercial director Peter Kenworthy said: "By adding an extra service to our Edinburgh-Copenhagen route we are able to open up connections to many additional international destinations for our Scotland-based business and leisure customers.
"Together with our all-jet fleet, convenient flight schedules and low fares we have a market leading product."
According to this year's statistics from the Civil Aviation Authority, bmi regional is the most punctual airline in the UK.
