Check-in kiosks installed at Cardiff

Check-in kiosks installed at CardiffFlybe has completed the installation of three new self-service check-in kiosks at Cardiff Airport.

The airline is the first to invest in this technology at Cardiff, a fact which it claims is demonstrative of its "commitment to customer service" at the airport.

Business and leisure passengers alike are expected to benefit from the electronic kiosks by enjoying faster transit through the airport.

Initial indications suggest that more than 40 per cent of Flybe's customers travelling through the UK have already used electronic check-in facilities.

Simon Lilley, the airline's director of marketing, said: "We are committed to getting the millions of passengers we carry each year through the check-in process as quickly and efficiently as possible.

"These machines minimise queuing and really do speed things up, allowing our passengers to better enjoy their travel experience with Flybe."

Spencer Birns of Cardiff Airport welcomed the development and said it would provide many people with a more enjoyable experience from their local airport.
