Air Europa promotes new flights from Gatwick
Air Europa is pursuing a promotional campaign as it launches new flights from Gatwick Airport and opens a sales office from the UK.The airline is already known in the UK for its European charter services and is now expanding its long-haul network with new connections from Gatwick.
Passengers will be able to fly from the London airport to Madrid before connecting to services to South America, Central America and the Caribbean.
Other destinations available from Gatwick via European transfers include Buenos Aires, Santo Domingo, Cancun and Havana.
Air Europa's head of international sales, Maria del Mar Ayudarte, said that the market for flights between the UK and Latin America is "booming".
She added: "Air Europa is well known as a holiday airline to the Mediterranean and our challenge is to make it equally well known as the best way to Latin America.
"We believe we can do this by working closely with the travel trade here in the UK."
