El Al unveils new Heathrow services

El Al, the national airline of Israel, has announced the launch of new online services for its passengers travelling from London Heathrow Airport.

The carrier's customers are now able to make use of an online express check-in facility for their flights from Heathrow.

Heathrow is the first airport outside Israel to offer El Al passengers the express check-in service.

Travellers will be able to use the facility between three and 24 hours prior to departure, allowing them to pre-select their seats, print their boarding passes and proceed straight to the bag-drop point or departure gate at the airport.

El Al's service between London Heathrow and Tel Aviv currently operates twice a day.

Passengers making use of these flights can also access one of Heathrow's airport hotels, such as the Sheraton Skyline or the Crowne Plaza.
