Kate Moss designs lost at London Heathrow

Kate Moss designs lost at London HeathrowSupermodel Kate Moss has had to deal with the delays in baggage at British Airway's (BA) Terminal 5 (T5) as several pieces of luggage containing samples from her new autumnwear for Topshop have been misplaced.

A total of eight of her bags were reportedly missing after she arrived at BA's new T5, with the bags having been lost somewhere between Los Angeles and London, reports the Sunday Mirror.

Worth £3,000 a piece just for the luggage, the top-secret items in the luggage could potentially be used by other designers to make knock-off pieces, according to a source.

The T5 delay meant that nearly 28,000 bags were missing or temporarily delayed in the first few days after the opening of the terminal, and while hundreds of passengers had to fret over whether their baggage would be claimed, Ms Moss was immediately compensated with £10,000 upon notice of her lost bags.

BA chief executive Willie Walsh approved the payment to the British icon, whereby six of the bags were eventually found two weeks later, but two still remain missing.
