Manx2 adds new flight from EMA
Regional airline Manx2 has announced the addition of a new daily flight to the Isle of Man from Nottingham/East Midlands Airport (EMA).On March 3rd, the carrier launched a connection between EMA and the Isle of Man offering flights on every day except Saturday.
This has now been extended to include Saturday services, which will be incorporated into Manx2's summer schedule, following strong bookings on the previous service.
James Filleul, the airline's communications director, said: "We think it is the range of connections available from East Midlands Airport which has been one of the main reasons for the route's success.
"With flights to more than a hundred destinations across the world to choose from, including many low-cost flights to top European sun spots, it offers a quick and easy start to your holiday."
Mr Filleul said that the Isle of Man is an important destination for business travellers and the new Saturday flight is expected to make travel to the island more convenient.
