New flights to Turkey for Leeds passengersLeeds/Bradford Airport passengers will soon be able to access a new range of flights to Turkey.

Goldtrail Holidays, which specialises in offering services to the country, has announced that it will be providing new flights from the Yorkshire hub to Bodrum and Dalaman during the summer.

The company will offer two flights a week to Dalaman and Bodrum, as well as one connection per week to Antalya.

Joe Lavers, sales and marketing director for Goldtrail Holidays, said that the company had been pursuing significant investment in its operations from Leeds/Bradford Airport.

Sally Ramsey, business development manager at the airport, said: "Turkey is a holiday hotspot for UK tourists so we are delighted that Goldtrail's programme for summer 2008 is showing such significant growth.

"We are forecasting a passenger throughput of approximately three million passengers for 2008 and these extra flights will make a significant contribution to the airport hitting this target."

this will prove hugely useful for property companies, such as ourselves, who are struggling to get their clients over to turkey to view potential investments due to the current lack of flights. lets hope we see even more new routes coming to turkey with other airlines and airports too!
