The airport is only 2 miles from junction 10 of the M1 motorway and the route from this exit is well sign posted. If you are travelling via the M25 leave at Junction 21 and join the M1. Access from the East and the A1 (M) is via the A505 dual carriageway from Hitchin. The airport lies off the A505 and is clearly sign posted. Please allow extra time for your journey, due to roadworks on the M1. For further information please go to www.highways.gov.uk
Arrivals Procedure:
On arrival take a ticket, take this ticket with you to validate on your return. Regular courtesy buses will take you to the terminal.
Returns Procedure:
On your return please take your ticket and confirmation to the APCOA Customer Services desk and your ticket will be validated for exit. Please ensure you validate your ticket BEFORE leaving the terminal. The car park validation desk is situated immediately as you exit the arrivals hall into the area where the car hire desks are situated. The courtesy bus to the car park can be found in the bus bays outside the terminal building marked SHORT TERM PARKING or YELLOW car park.
**THERE IS NO NEED TO INSERT YOUR CREDIT CARD AT THE BARRIER**
PLEASE ARRIVE AT CAR PARK AT LEAST 30 MINUTES BEFORE CHECK INThe airport is clearly signed off the A505. On arrival follow the yellow coloured signs for the Short Term car park.

- On entry, take a ticket and follow signs to the nearest available spaces. Make a note of where you have parked and the nearest bus stop if applicable.
- Departure Procedure
- Take your ticket and booking voucher to the Apcoa Customer Service desk located in the Arrivals Hall. Apcoa staff will validate your ticket allowing you to exit the car park.

- The Short Stay car park is secured by a high perimeter fence, is well floodlit and is protected by 24hr CCTV surveillance and manned patrols
- Additional Information
- Height restrictions do not apply. Trailers cannot be parked on this car park. There are dedicated parking bays for disabled short stay users. These are clearly marked and located adjacent to the terminal building.
