- The airport is only 2 miles from junction 10 of the M1 motorway and the route from this exit is well sign posted. If you are travelling via the M25 leave at Junction 21 and join the M1. Access from the East and the A1 (M) is via the A505 dual carriageway from Hitchin. The airport lies off the A505 and is clearly sign posted. validation desk is situated immediately as you exit the arrivals hall into the area where the car hire desks are situated. The courtesy bus to the car park can be found in the bus bays outside the terminal building
marked LONG TERM PARKING or PINK car park.
