Pick up point K @ Newcastle Airport a long way from the exit from Arrivals.Terrible if raining as is the norm. Pick up point closer to the exit would be a big improvement. Best Regards Dave Priest

Asked for car to be washed and hoovered , this was carried out and vehicle was kept under cover till our return , excellent The only negative point I perceive is the distance in the open you have to push your trolley between the airport building and the pick up point , especially when the weather is filthy .

From the A1:
Leave the A1 at the exit for the A696 towards Jedburgh and the airport.
Leave the A696 at the second exit, which is signposted Throckley and Woolsington.
At the roundabout take the third exit, signposted Woolsington and Park and Ride. Go straight on at the next roundabout and Airparks will be on your right.
From the A696 southbound:
After you've passed the exit for the airport, leave the A696 at the exit for Throckley and Woolsington. At the roundabout take the first exit, signposted Woolsington and Park and Ride. Airparks will be on your right.

Please ensure sufficient time is allowed for your journey to the airport. Airline recommended check in times are now 2-3 hours before the flight departure time.
You will be required to leave your keys at the car park
On arrival:You'll need to check your car in at reception and leave your keys with them, as your car will be parked for you. You should bring a copy of your booking confirmation to the car park. Once you've checked in, make your way to the covered waiting area where the transfer bus will meet you.

On return: Just give Airparks a call and the shuttle bus will come and pick you up. There's a free phone in the terminal, on the central pillar opposite domestic arrivals.

We recommend that you give yourself 35 to 45 minutes to drop your car off and transfer to the airport.
Airparks Newcastle has ladies' and mens' loos as well as disabled toilets.
If you come back to a flat battery, the car park will be happy to jump start your car, free of charge.
Bikes, surfboards, canoes and other large objects that won't fit into the luggage racks can't be carried on Airparks buses. If you are bringing large items with you, we suggest you drop them off at the airport before you park your car. Remember to check with your airline that you will be able to take them on the plane.
