There is a saying cheap and cheerful, well it least it was cheap. For the price we paid we shouldn't complain, however having used this hotel on & off over a number of years the standard seems to be dropping. Certainly the carvery is very poor quality and expensive compared to what you would pay in a pub chain. Would we stay again?, probibly not

Britannia Country House in Manchester

We have used this hotel previously and only changed to the Britannia Airport Hotel when the Coach for transfers had to stop on the main roud and not outside the Hotel. Having recently had a bad experience at the other hotel and realisinf that the pick up was now at the Hotel door we gave the Country House Hotel another try. The room was above expectations the service was very good and the airport transfers and car parking as good as we had previously experienced. One important improvement would be a more frequent transfer service. an hours wait can be along time if you have to wait outside on a cold night following a long flight.
